EcoVadis, a leading provider of business sustainability ratings, has awarded LEDS C4 the gold medal in sustainability, placing it within the 5% highest-scoring companies among the 90,000 that were analysed in 160 countries and across 200 different sectors.
Every year, EcoVadis analyses the policies, activities, measures and data of businesses and scores them according to international sustainability standards GRI and ISO 2600, grouped into four issues:
- Social and human rights
- Responsible purchases
This provides a complete view of how a company acts at the CSR level over a given period of time.
Over the last few years, LEDS C4 has consolidated the integration of sustainability in all areas of its activity, evolving towards an increasingly responsible and respectful management towards society and the environment. An example of this is the investment of 1.7 million in technology and R&D to offer people more sustainable and higher-quality lighting, the switch to sustainable packaging, and the fact that more than half of its products are easily recyclable.
This medal reflects the effort and involvement of the entire LEDS C4 team to achieve the appropriate quality and sustainability standards in all areas in which it operates.
